Roman Warrior

I carved this head out of a piece of white Italian Carrara marble.It was a challenge!!
It can be mounted on a wall.Weighing about 20 pounds, or it can just be laid on a piece of black velvet and put on a table for a great conversation piece.
I must say that sculpting in clay is much easier that carving in marble, I just can’t fathom how the masters accomplished there
